How it all started...
In 1966 a group of dedicated Christ followers gathered together in a garage in Waldorf to study the Bible and pray for God's will. Those faithful 30 people became Waldorf Wesleyan Church. As those 30 some people continued to pray and believe God for more, they outgrew their space. But without the resources to build a traditional church they expanded the garage, put in some stained glass, a pulpit and pews, and continued to pray for revival to happen in Southern Maryland. In 1997 they moved to La Plata, Maryland and changed their name to New Life Wesleyan Church.
where we are now...
In 2006, New Life planted the Vine Church, and in 2008, the Garage Church. Knowing they could be stronger together, The Garage and The Vine merged together in 2012 to become LifePoint Church. LifePoint Church proudly opened its doors to Phase 1 on February 28, 2016 on Route 228.
Where we are headed...
As the Lord leads, we long to reach more people with the love of God through church planting (in our local region) and campus expansion (with Phases 2 and 3 at our current location).
