Through the generosity of people within LifePoint Church, we are able to provide a variety of food items each month to assist families experiencing food insecurity.

We have all faced difficult seasons in our life where we find we need assistance: sudden illness, unemployment, furlough, high utility bill, or a broken-down vehicle. Because of the generosity of people within LifePoint Church, it is during these times that we are standing by to assist our fellow neighbors in Southern Maryland. 

Prayer Team members commit to praying over congregational prayer requests during the week as well as praying with congregation members after each Sunday worship service. Prayer team members also have an opportunity to pray over each of our worship services. 

LifePoint church pastors and trained volunteers visit people in nursing homes, hospitals and those who are homebound, as well as make follow up calls to encourage, pray and bring comfort to those who are suffering or sick. 

 Life can be difficult sometimes. We are here to encourage and minister to individuals and families with a meal or meals to help them get through difficult times. Not having to worry about cooking a meal can really help alleviate stress and allow individuals to focus on what is important.

 Life can be difficult sometimes. LifePoint volunteers are here to encourage others through cards to individuals in need during difficult and trying times.  We also send cards to celebrate when good happens to people and families.  Everyone needs to know they have someone in their corner.
